numb the ache

on
none of us regard this
as the right thing we should do
if only I knew the reason of
why it feels just right 
doing this and that with you
even the rules we break
the consequences we take
or the heat that may reach its peak
I am still holding on to this mistake
hoping the universe numb the ache
