my heart beats twice 

faster than it should be

I keep thinking of you in me

in the dreams i could not stop

the dreams that bring hope

does this oddly beating heart come

because you left to see your answer

or does this stupid mind set the heart

to feel what I should not have felt

the emotion I left years ago
